Hogbens Saddle and Harness Makers stock a wide range of saddles to suit any horse and rider. We can also repair any breakages or just wear and tear. I have been a saddler for more than 30 years and hope to offer you the benefit of my experience. I have worked in many areas - dressage with Albion/Legend, polo with The Tackeria, Palm Beach, many Hunts both here and in the UK, Eventers, Show Jumpers, numerous Pony Clubs, Riding Schools, Livery Yards, Trekking Centres, City Farms, Driving Horses and thousands of individual horse lovers.
I always have a huge selection of quality used saddles to choose from and will travel to fit saddles in your own yard or you can bring your horse to me. All saddles come with a 14 day happiness guarantee so you can buy with the confidence of full refund or exchange.
My aim is always comfort for horse and rider at a price they can afford and we have saddles for all budgets.
I also do any saddle repairs and maintenance such as straps, new trees, new seats, flocking etc you may require and am often able to offer a loan saddle to keep you riding while yours is off the road.

Just getting to know all the new saddles that have arrived this week - too many to list so here is a small taster! Many more of all shapes, sizes and prices. As many of you know we aim to have at least 100 saddles in stock and do our best to help every horse and rider within the depth of their pocket. You are welcome to try saddles and I do not charge for call out or fitting if you spend over €200. If you don't that's fine too but I ask for a contribution of around €30 to cover petrol, depending on mileage. This is because most customers benefit from some advice and the opportunity to try a number of saddles at a time. I encourage customers to have a call out as I consider this service to be an integral part of supplying a saddle.
