WOB! are a Dublin duo who play an energetic, distinct blend of electronica and drum & bass in a live setting. Stephen - Synth | Djollie - Drums Turning average shit dancers into Johntra Volta since 2013 The band had extensively toured across Ireland; they had the privilege of headlining the hottest venues in the country (Whelan’s – Dublin, Crane Lane Theatre – Cork, Monroe’s – Galway). WOB! held a monthly residency and managed to connect the analogue and digital worlds under the same roof in The Mercantile Venue in Dublin. Each event saw new artists (including DJs, musicians, dancers, MCs and VJs) improvising with WOB! on stage. The band also had notable performances at major Irish festivals: Electric Picnic (2013, 2014), 3 shows at Body & Soul Festival (2014), as well as indie festivals, such as Knockanstockan (2014), Sunflower Festival (Northern Ireland 2014), Sonic Arts Festival (2014), Vantastival (2013, 2015) to name but a few. The first half of 2016 is set for Official release that will be available on iTunes, Spotify and other major outlets, Irish tour in March and European tour in May. "Their truly unique blend of drum ‘n’ bass and electronica impressed the pants off the GoldenPlec crew at festivals including Knockanstockan, Vantastival and Electric Picnic last year. WOB!’s unmissable set is guaranteed to get you dancing.” – GoldenPlec "WOB! are a welcome alternative to the one man and his laptop brigade" – state.ie "A raucous fusion of styles and sound WOB!’s live show will be well-suited for night-time festival vibe." – The Last Mixed Tape "The ability to recycle and upcycle music appears to be the challenge for most acts these days, especially Electronica. But Dublin-Based WOB! are flying the flag for the scene here in Ireland.”– The Irish Daily Star
