All emergency staff remain in operation and will be on hand during worst of storm expected to hit our area from 1pm today. The focus will be on responding to critical incidences during the storm itself but also largely on dealing with the aftermath. NB - It is expected that fallen trees and localised flooding will be the main threats in our county. It is impossible to predict where so be vigilant, especially on roads near rivers. Leaves are on the ground and will block some drains, exacerbating surface water problems. Avoid non-essential travel as per advice and keep an eye out for national emergency updates on TV and radio and online. Homeless services are being co-ordinated trhough the Dublin Regional Homeless Executive. Dublin Buses have been cancelled from 10am.
