Our Lord, our Rock, our God. The One and Only for there is nobody else like Him.
CY youth group is back on this Saturday night. We are excited that our friends from Exodus North-West are joining us for the evening. Why not come along and join in on the fun too?!
At CY on Saturday night and our Sabbath service, we heard about needs and wants in life. Both talks highlighted the importance of knowing God. And they had points certainly worth hearing. Jesus is the most significant need and want we should have in life. Have you thought about this? How He can provide your daily needs (Philippians 4:19). How Jesus can quench your spiritual thirst by giving you living water that leads to eternal life (John 4:14). What more could anyone need or want?
After a fun-filled schedule last term and a refreshing break, CY is back! We meet this Saturday in the church building. All youth and young adults welcome 😀
In yesterday's sermon, we were reminded that Christ alone is the door-the way-the only way to eternal life. See John 10:9 (ESV) Take this moment to ask yourself: which side of the door are you on? Are you on the inside and trusting in Christ? Or are you on the outside, outside of Christ and without hope or security? Jesus promises that if we enter through Him, we will be saved and can be confident of our wonderful future with Him forever.
This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:16, 18 & 19
'Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel'. Isaiah 7:14 NIV Dear Lord, We rejoice that you Jesus, came to earth as a baby. Thank you for coming here to live, die and rise again so that we, your people, can be united with God in heaven. Thank you for being Immanuel, “God with us,” now and forever, through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen
