What does Mamogs do?
Mamogs is a wonderful two fold service caring for you and your baby.  I will come to your home and care for you and your precious baby giving you support in many ways.  It could be cooking a meal,  helping with older children while you bond with your baby or give you an opportunity to take some much needed time out. This may be to catch up on lost sleep; to spend time with your partner or older children; join a weekly class or take a bath and quietly relax. The list is endless and the choice is all yours. It is also perfect for women who are self employed and need to dedicate a few hours undisturbed hours a week to the business.

Take a little time out to attend to your own needs, because when it comes to feeling good, it’s all about you. It takes stamina to care for a baby.

Having help after childbirth is two-fold. Not only are you allowing your body, mind and spirit to heal, you are surrounding yourself with people who care for you, your family and your well-being.
Think of it as “Mothering the mother”

Packages are tailored to suit all your needs including caring for older children if needed. Why not ring or e mail Michelle today to arrange your free* consultation.

We had another wonderful paediatric first aid training session yesterday. Great questions from all who attended. We now have another 10 people who will be ensuring good safety in the home, are better at preventing accidents, more informed about sickness like mellingitus, know the difference between choking and gagging and able to preform CPR on an infant and child. I'd say thats a productive morning.

While out walking a clients baby the other day I met a dad holding a 4 week old baby and pushing a pram (baby had been crying but calm now). He stopped me (assuming I was the parent of this baby) and said "How do we do this, how do we get to that stage (pointing to the baby I was caring for who is coming up on a year old) never mind keep going until they are 18 years old" He was not in a good place and very stressed, my heart was breaking. We walked together for a little while as I listened to him tell me how they were trying to cope at home. I reassured him that things would get easier, to take each day at a time and sometimes it had to be broken down to an hour or even 5 minuets at a time. I gave him some contact numbers for support, explained briefly who I was and what i did and offered my number to contact for a reassuring chat any time. We saw some spring flowers blooming on our journey and I simply said "with new growth, comes change" When we parted and he was in a much better place. We have since spoken, arranged some Mamogs support but already things are looking brighter. Never underestimate the power of a listening ear and reassuring words of support.
