GCR - News - France starts building first solar-paved road

SOLAR CELL ROADS - WALK OR DRIVE INTO THE FUTURE !! Its good to see the French are forward thinking enough, to double up on a usage of a product, for multipurposes, rather than being mono-aesthetic, and inpinging the landscapes with PV farms, or countless swathes of PV panels on everbodies roofs like ones sees in Germany. It is much more cost efficient, and less intrusive than wind energy. Well done France!!

This was a original eco-house design we carried out, incorporating the use of wind turbines, passive house and eco-house design criteria, to ensure this house cost in the region of €200 per annum to heat. We can design around any budget, and to fit any specification the client wishes. The design is a mixture of traditional vernacular housing found in large areas of Donegal & Ireland, but with a contemporary addition to the side, which make an umbilical connection from new to old, in terms of aesthetics’. Due to the sloping site, we were able to utilise the basement space to its full potential, with minimal extra construction costs. Our first consultation is free to any client, whom wished to call into our office to dicsuss thier requirements.

Construction Manager - News

The future of construction is really starting to become so technology based, with the roll out of BIM, and 3D printing of components, and possibly of whole structure's will soon become the norm over the next few decades. But also remember, if the power goes out tomorrow !, the aul, pen & paper, will still be needed to produce the plans, & designs, and those skills are further deteriorating every generation. Over use & reliance of technology, may be our ultimate downfall some day.. or maybe I'm just getting old ?? http://www.construction-manager.co.uk/news/scien8tists-dev3elop-flyin4g-robots-can-print/
