Well! We are done & dusted & what a great day we had at Christys Christmas Market - despite the rain & wind! 🤦‍♀️ A HUGE thank you to all our traders/stall holders, ye were all such a nice friendly crew & hopefully made a few bob today. Thanks to all our fab market organisers, helping out covering stalls, keeping people chatting & pretty much going out of their way to help out, and with a great festive playlist all day to boot. 🎄☃️ Thanks to all the visitors who stopped by & supported our market, from near & far, it made our day! Christy’s Christmas Market Prosperous Sat 8th December, 11am to 5pm Lots of Christmas treats & specialist items on offer this year! Handcrafted knitwear, homemade candles, hamper gifts, jewellery, bespoke flower arrangements, homecrafted beautiful wooden crafts, gorgeous pallet snowmen & pallet christmas trees & lots lots LOTS more ! Visit us if you’re passing by, enjoy a nice mulled wine or fruit cider (both non alcoholic) & then around lunchtime - how about a nice cup of hot vegetable soup to keep the December Chill out! If you find something you love & it’s sold out on the day, you will probably be able to order in time for Christmas. Some rare & unusual bargains are due to arrive too... (But that’s nowt strange in Prosperous, right?!) 👍🏻😉 Please stop by if you’re passing & support this community non profit event! You might even be lucky enough to see the Christmas Light Display of Prosperous’s most favourite Gentleman, Mr Paddy Price. His Christmas displays are legendary!

Hullo to all of our registered traders! Some important info for all ahead of our big day on Saturday 8th Dec! - Market set up from 8.30am, market hours will run (roughly) 11am to 5pm. When you arrive, please seek out a member of our organising crew who will on hand to help you find your allocated table/area for the day. - We recommend outside stall holders to bring your table, chair & preferably a covered area/gazebo etc in case of bad weather & of course, dress warmly! - Inside traders advised if possible to bring additional lighting, ie battery Lanterns, LED lights etc as some areas of the lounge can be a little dark (& let’s face it, the more twinkly lights we have the better! Stall holders should also remember to bring bags, change etc on the day & pre-pricing your products clearly would probably be very helpful too - some customers can be shy to approach ... The table fee of €10 will be collected early afternoon. If anyone has any queries, please contact us by PM-ing this page & we will get back to you asap. Otherwise, you can text to 086 2387848. Finally, please drop us a PM to confirm your attendance on the day, and if your plans have changed & you can’t make it after all, we still have a waiting list of people who would love a chance to attend. We are now fully booked - & really delighted with the selection of traders and products we will have available on the day!! We are encouraging people to Shop Local this year where possible & drop in to Christys Prosperous, you never know what bargains you might pick up to save you traipsing around the big shopping centres in the crowds! 11am to 5pm, Sat 8th Dec - a warm welcome awaits everyone on the day! We are very nearly at full capacity for our Christmas market, although there are a few car park spaces still available, bring your own gazebo/tent & get extra space for the same price of just €10! Totally different traders than last year, so some real treats in store! #Prosperous Community Association
