Riverlane Upholstery & Workshop. Furniture Repair & Upholstery. Just across from the Creamery Co-op Riverlane Antiques is situated on a lane between stafford and Kenyon street Nenagh, Tipperary, known locally as Riverlane. I specialise in antique sales and antique restoration.
My restoration services include Polishing, Upholstery, Veneering, Painting, Wax Finishes and general Furniture Repairs. I will restore your antique treasures using traditional materials and techniques.
If your furniture is not antique, don't worry. I will happily restore modern furniture as well. Whether it is a broken chair leg, a scratch on your table or you simply want to re-upholster a tired looking chair, I will take care of it all.

Early 1970s parker knoll statesman "egg" chair . This is a tricky one because of the shape. It has 8 panels that have to numbered, marked and correspond perfectly to one another. You don't know if you got it right until you pull it down over the frame. Luckily I got it right first time!

Look what I found as a stuffing. An old Irish sugar bag! Not sure how old but would reckon 1940s or 50s. In good nick though and makes a nice wall hanging
A pair of 1990s beech armchairs. These are plentiful and very well made. With a modern makeover they are a great chair. These were disassembled, polished, restuffed and upholstered.
