Unfortunately this is indicative of what is happening to many small businesses in Rural Ireland ( anywhere outside Dublin). We have a few options to ensure survival. We need to embrace online sales and we need to encourage local people to shop locally. The onus is on us to promote ourselves. We can lobby government and local media, but we must fight for our own survival by uniting and working together to promote our local towns and villages/. #mullingartownteam
