I worked for 20 years as a news reporter for local, regional and national media, including for a brief period, RTE. Discovered my interest in history during those years when, as it happens, the seeds of my interest in photography were also sown.

My published books include 'White Knights, Dark Earls, the Rise and Fall of an Anglo-Irish Dynasty,' 'Another Side of Mitchelstown,' 'Fermoy on the Blackwater,' 'Evensong, the Story of a Church of Ireland Country Parish,' and 'Images of Mitchelstown'.
