Qualified in childcare with a FETAC level 5 and level 6, level 7 from NUI Galway and Garda Vetted.
First aid, HACCP, fire safety and manual handling training completed.

I am up to date with changes, new approaches and relevant information regarding childcare. I plan out activities that support children to reach their goals. As well as providing children with age and stage appropriate toys, I like to bring the children on walks where they can collect leaves, flowers, sticks, stones and other materials they find interesting that they can bring back to play with, experiment or construct. This encourages the children to learn about their world, while they use their creativity and imagination and solve problems.

I have a play room full of developmentally appropriate toys and equipment for children of all ages. We do lots of arts and crafts and baking. My method is to provide a safe environment full of learning opportunities and fun.
