How often do you check your pet’s ears? We recommend regularly checking for any of the following and give them a good clean out while you’re there if required: - Black or dark coloured ear wax. - Thick or solid bits of ear wax. - Soreness or inflammation around the ear canal. - A horrible smell. - Do they scratch their ears a lot? - Any signs of blood or irritation? If the answer is yes to any of these, make an appointment to see us! 09677578

Should I pick up a fledgeling if it’s in danger? If fledgelings are moved from their natural surroundings, it reduces their chance of survival. It’s usually best to leave the fledgeling where it has landed as its parents will be close by. If you think that the fledgeling is in danger (busy road, lots of pedestrians, prey animals such as cats), you can move it to a safe spot but you must ensure that it’s within hearing distance of its parents. http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/read-and-learn/helping-birds/health/babybirds.aspx
