Counselling Service available in the Sanc tuary Centre, Loughrea, Co. Galway I qualified as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist from the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire and practice counselling in a private capacity in The Sanctuary Centre, Loughrea, Co. Galway. I offer general counselling on a range of issues which affect people’s everyday lives. I have also done courses on Suicide Awareness and Prevention with A.S.I.S.T. and CONSOLE and am acutely aware of the epidemic proportions that suicide has reached in this country. I hold a Diploma in Social Studies and I am currently studying Grief and Bereavement counselling.
I understand that it is can be difficult to take that first step of making the call and looking for help. I offer people a listening ear to explore and talk about their issues to develop a more resourceful way of living and coping with life. Everything is dealt with in the strictest confidence.
I am currently a pre-accreditated member with IACP working towards full accreditation.
