This week we let more of our babies and brought in the last of the sheep to lamb .
Great night in Carrigallen packed house for Irish Farmers Journal suckler event. I thought the delivery of the calf was brilliant the best part of the night. Thanks to Adam ,Finbar and Marie Louise for the demonstration. Super a little taste of their presentation. #Irish Farmers Journal #Suckler #Carrigallen Mart 🐮🐮

Today we said goodbye to Oscar aka Pooch😢😢. It's nearly 14 years (98 dog years) since we collected him from Tipperary. Within his first week on the farm we were saying our prayers to St.Anthomy after our collie brought him on adventure down the fields and didn't bring him back! Thankfully our prayers were answered and we found him the following morning😍 He passed his initiation challenge😄 Over his years he tried and tested enough beauty parlours around the county and neighbouring ones. He won many a prize at dog shows when he was in his prime. We was an integral part of the family and farm life over his years and will be huge loss😭 He passed away peacefully in his sleep on the farm.

Seamus hitched a lift after the birthday party to spend time with his auntie. He woke up this am to see Joe Briody moving down the fields with his digger. All his dreams came true. A real digger! 🙀He left his Paw Patrol hat in Dublin luckily he got a hat thanks to the sheep meeting on Thursday. #Digger #Farm Life #Agriland #Farmers Journal 🐶🚜🐈🐏🐄🐮💪
