We would ask all our customers and friends on facebook to come out this Friday and Saturday and support Irene and her friends at her pop up charity shop beside us at Hibernian Court Longford. The original shop Irene had in the centre of the town was broken into on Tuesday and a large amount of the items that had being donated was stolen, Irene is raising funds for the Cancer unit at Cavan General Hospital where her sister Madeline is receiving treatment. We at the Courtyard Cafe would like to help also and to this end we are offering a free Tea or Coffee at the cafe to anyone who spends €5 or more in the Charity Shop this Friday and Saturday. Please come out and support this worthy cause and show the scum who so callously robbed a charity shop in broad daylight that they are not or never will be, part of our community here in Longford.
