Accounts Assistant - Payroll - Accounting Practice The Employer Our client is a mid-sized accountancy firm based in Limerick city-centre The Role Payroll Looking after all payroll services as provided to clients, including weekly and monthly wage and salary processing, filing payroll returns (ROS) and dealing with queries from both clients and client employees. Details as follows: Running of payroll and issuing weekly / monthly reports within prescribed timeframe Fully responsible for checking of trial and final payroll outputs Collection, maintenance and processing of employee deductions All aspects of payroll compliance and controls Resolution of staff wage and tax queries First point of contact for all client payroll queries Other Responsibilities This role will also be responsible of managing client meetings and the reception of the office as follows: Meeting & greeting clients Booking meetings, Receiving and distributing mail, Screening, answering and forwarding telephone calls, Requirements The ideal candidate will have some payroll experience (training provided also) and will have the disposition and ability to help in the general running of the office on an ongoing basis.
