Fly-in grounded Unfortunately due to adverse weather forecasts we have made a decision at this stage to cancel the Fly-in scheduled for this coming weekend. The proposed BBQ at the Woodfield house which is an integral part of the fly-in is also cancelled or hopefully more to the point deferred. The provisional plan is if we see a weather window we will organise an open day / fly-in during September at which point we will hold the BBQ. Sorry for the disappointment. The joys of planning fly-ins in Ireland.
Annual Fly-in This is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 20 / 21 August. We plan a fun weekend with food available throughout both days. The main social event will be a BBQ at Woodfield House, Ennis Road, Limerick at 20.00. Some accommodation available at the hotel for Fly-in visitors. Hopefully the Weather Gods will look favourably on us and we will have a typical warm Coonagh welcome on the ramp.

The Weather God's were very kind to all at Coonagh today as we celebrated the work of our past chairman. There was a lot of serious flying enhanced by the arrival of a gaggle of fours RV's from the UK via Sligo. ATC and ground handling was tested with up to seven aircraft on approach at the same time. A shot of the packed ramp captures the atmosphere. More photos to follow.
