Jim Flavin Butchers have two locations:
Greenpark: Greenpark Shopping Centre, Ballinacurra, Limerick
Castletroy: Dublin Road, Castletroy, Limerick Jim Flavin butchers Castletroy was established in 1996.
Our second shop in Greenpark was opened in March 2010 which is headed up by Jim's sister Carmel. Jim also opened a Boning facility in Annacotty.
All our staff are highly qualified to advise you on all our products and are always happy to help.
Hygiene and Quality is our motto.
We are one stop shops for all your meat and grocery requirements and all our products are sourced locally including a wide variety of jams, fruit juices and other preserves.
Fresh Brown Bread and Apple Tarts daily from the Pantry in Nenagh.
Jim operates a farm to fork policy resulting in the production and finishing of his own beef which are fed on a specialised diet of Maize grown on the family farm in Grange. This ensures nicer flavour to Steaks, more succulent Roast Beef, Sirloins and Striploins.
Jim also sells Burren Lamb, Poultry, Bacon, Pork and Fresh Fish daily.
One of Jims specialties is his homemade Sausages for which he has won rafts of medals, varieties include Chilli and Honey, Tomato and Cheese, Garlic and Herb, Cumberland, Pork and Apple, Pork and Leek and of course the Traditional Sausage.
Jims farm was also featured on RTE'S Ear to the Ground.
Jim also supplies a large selection of fresh Fruit and Vegetables delivered daily.
