The Bianconi Inn is a Restaurant, Bar and Guesthouse, we are open for hot food Mon to Sat and for High Tea on Sunday evenings from 6.00pm to 9.00pm The Bianconi story starts in the early 19th Century, when Charles Bianconi, one of the earliest innovators in public transport in Europe, and the founder of Ireland’s first public transport system started his stage coach routes in 1815. Bianconi realised that ordinary people sought to travel and see Ireland, as well as travel for business in comfort, something we believe in today in the Bianconi, Killorglin.

The Bianconi has been trading for over 150 years and having originally been based on a Bianconi stage coach route, has taken it’s name from Killorglin’s rich and proud past as a central town for leisure, business and touring travellers alike. Since 1955 the Sheehy family has been greeting visitors at the Bianconi, with brothers Rick and Ray Sheehy ensuring every visit is a pleasant one.

Today, The Bianconi offers some of the most modern facilities available in Kerry, having recently been renovated in 2011, however we still live in the spirit of Charles Bianconi, offering comfort to our visitors, as well as excellent value and superior quality of accommodation.

With this in mind, we invite you to come along, and join in the spirit of The Bianconi, enjoy our hospitality and explore Killorglin and The Ring of Kerry.
