I'm not sure its possible to take a bad photo of the scenic Valentia lighthouse, even me. Taken from the winding road to the famous Valentia Slate Quarry, the lighthouse is backed by the now uninhabited Beginish Island https://goo.gl/sK89kq (a great day out by local ferry during summer months) and Dolus Head and Knocknadtobar mountain, both great walks. You can now take a tour of the lighthouse and view the ancient standing stone within the grounds. Also don't forget to visit the nearby 365million year old Tetrapod footprints.
