🐎😍This pony is for sale and is on livery with us! Enfield Shadow is a 12yo 14.2hh connemara with a temperament to die for. He would fly around an open Hunter trial course, simply sit and steer and would jump clear round after clear round up to 1.05m showjumping!! He has won Pony club ODE's, been on the Irish Tetrethlon team and basically been there and got the T-shirt 😉👍 He's the easiest pony ever to ride, does lovely flat work and is the perfect type to do pony club eventing or tretrathlon. He honestly is sit and steer, never stops and is as honest as the day is long. We've never had such an uncomplicated pony in the yard 💙 He's a complete pet on the ground and has no vices at all! He is not a complete beginners pony as he's way too good for that, and knows his job so would be wasted. Well unfortunately the snow has meant I'm cancelling the last day of lessons here in Copper Beech Stables due to travel conditions being bad for you all! 🙈⛷🏂 Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely messages, cards , presents etc... I'm actually really overwhelmed to know how much the place and ponies meant to you all !! 💙 Thank you to everyone who chose to come here for riding lessons, there's 120 of you on my lesson list (in the 4 days.....no wonder the yard was always so busy 🙈!!) so I'm sorry if I didn't get to chat with each and everyone of you the last week or so! However it is really appreciated that you came to us and stayed loyal for so long. It's been a fun few years and I wish you all lots of horsey fun in the future. 🐴 I'll still be coaching people on their own horses and ponies, and we've now 12 of our own horses and ponies leased on livery here since we announced we're closing , so along with our ever loyal competition liveries and our own horses and ponies to be working with, we'll still be kept busy.... just heading in a different direction 🐴👌 You are all very welcome to visit your favourite pony and us (😉) at anytime! Winston is back on the party scene!! 🐴🎉 Our instructor Carol Spain has him back flying and they finished 3rd in the combined training at the weekend💪 She is also busy preparing Certerach (our Dubai Gold Cup winner) for the Racehorse to riding horse classes this year so watch this space for updates 😉

A huge 'thank you' to Heike Holstein who gave up her whole day to coach here in Copper Beech Stables today 🐴😀 I actually couldn't sneak a session with her as she was too popular and the spots filled up so quick! She's as good a coach as rider!! The feedback was great from everyone , with everyone saying how she can achieve improvement in both the horse and rider by great communication with the rider, and total understanding of the horse and how best to fix any problems. Everyone without exception went home with positive results🎉 We'll look forward to having her here again in the near future.....and I'm definitely taking one of the spots 😜🤣 Thank you so much to everyone who attended, hopefully see you all again soon!

The riding school closes on February 28th but the gates certainly stay open! We will have to offer : **5⭐️ livery.....top class facilities and care of your horse/pony. We will have a few limited spaces from March 1st, when the riding school is finished....we are looking forward to welcoming a few more horses to join the fab bunch of livery horses we have at the moment 😍 Packages organised and priced to suit all individuals....from us doing no riding on your horse, to riding/exercising it as much as possible 😊 **Continued regular clinics being held from some of Ireland's top coaches/riders. These are great opportunities to learn from the very best and are always well supported and the spots filled within days!😊 ** We will continue to take people to coach on their own horses/ponies. 🐴🐴Here in Copper Beech Stables, it's a family affair and always has been. When I had so many babies, and couldn't make 1st, 2nd or 3rd lot on time in the racing yard then I knew I had to do something else to earn a living to suit me and our growing brood!! I took the plunge, took out a big loan, and started up the riding school. Little did I know back then, just what a success it would be. It was a huge risk to take with the loan and cleaning out my savings, but with a bit of a positive attitude we did it and we're so happy to have the lovely yard we have. I really am so grateful to everyone who has been a part of it along the way and helped me build the thriving business we have today, it's been a fun journey and I've met lots of lovely kids and people😊 Now however my kiddies are bigger and all 5 are as addicted to horses as I am so I'm going to take another risk. We need our space and family yard back , to get on with all our own horses and ponies, so unfortunately I've made the decision to close the riding school. We will continue to provide a top class service for our current liveries and will have a few more spaces available soon. I am so very grateful to everyone who has enjoyed the journey with us, in particular my amazing instructors Ruth Wiseman and Carol Spain, who are the main reason our riding school has been such a success. The last riding school lessons will take place on February 28th. I am in no hurry to part with my beloved riding school ponies who will be available to lease, or will be sold to 5* homes to people I know only.
