Posting for our Secondary School. Its that time of year again AUCTION & GOOD AS NEW SALE CAKES & HOME PRODUCE & PLANTS Annual Auction on Sunday May 28th 2017 at Ardscoil, Rath Iomgháin Doors open at 12.00 noon and auction begins at 1.00 pm. Donations of good quality saleable items can be delivered to the school on: Friday May 26th between 6.00pm and 10.00pm Saturday May 27th May between 10.00am and 4.00 pm. Apologies for being rather vague yesterday. The texts were about the book rental. So for the children from 3rd to 6th.
There was a text from the school today. If you are not receiving the school texts will you call the school and make sure that they have your correct information. Thanks. Please remember time is running out for Book Rental which is compulsory. All monies must be paid by Friday 2nd June
The book rental scheme is well underway. Thank you to all the new volunteers who have started. It's not too late to lend a hand to enable the scheme to keep running. Remember that monies are collected on Thursday's and Friday's of each week. Many thanks.

A great day was had at the Bluebells and Buskers in Killinthomas Woods today. The sun was shining and the music was mighty. Raising funds for our local community centre. Thank you Mr Carroll for producing such great musicians.
Still some raffle prizes not collected since Easter Monday here in the Burrow
If you are available to help the girls with the Book Rental Scheme this year even for 1/2 hour one morning a week. There will be a meeting at the school at 11.30. Many thanks in advance. Ali and Pippa
Irish Heart Foundation mobile unit will be in Rathangan Community Centre Yard on Saturday the 29th of April. The unit has two consultation rooms with three on duty nurses. They take blood pressure and give heart health checks and advice. There is no cost involved so why not come along on the day between 10am and 3pm. Rathangan Public Access Aed are making the community centre available on the day to instruct and help people be more familiar with using a Defibrillator. And chain of survival. If you are a nurse. paramedic,CFR or First aid instructor we could really use your help on the day if only for a couple of hours. Please call or text Pat on 0868529482 If you can help
