From fireside to bedside! Fiona from Fifi's Fancy Furniture spotted a large repro but ornately carved wooden fire surround at auction and had the vision of turning it into a bed headboard. After a winning bid, she painted it in Frenchic “Grey Pebble” and dry brushed the stunning detailing using “ Wedding Cake”. Fiona went on to use gorgeous Frenchic Defining Wax all over to add depth and gravitas. After fitting an upholstered middle section, her new headboard was complete! What do you think? Staircase Makeover! Frenchic Fan Forum member Lucy shared her newly transformed staircase pics after using just ONE tin of Frenchic Wedding Cake and one bottle of our Fabulous Finishing Coat! She says: 'Here’s some photos of our finished banister. I'm absolutely in love with it! It’s made such a difference to our hallway and landing 😍 and for one tin of Wedding Cake and one bottle of Finishing Coat I think it’s a bargain for the humungous change made!' She went on to say in her post that she had cleaned her banister and then painted two coats of Wedding Cake, distressed back a little for a 'shabby' effect and then sealed with two coats of our robust Finishing Coat. Very nice job, Lucy! We love it too and how it's brightened up your whole staircase and landing!
