It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eileen Harrington who built our nursing home in 1986 along with her late Husband Mick. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of today surrounded by her family and the loving care of our staff. The Harrington and Langley family would like to thank all of the staff for the dignified, respectful and loving care that they showed Eileen and the support and affection they have given us in this last month and especially on these last few days.
Just found this..... our brochure from 1995 when Eileen (Barbara's mother in law) was the owner.
**Building Update** our 10 new bedrooms, shower room, dining room, laundry room & sluice room are now complete :) we are currently going through all the admin side of things now with HIQA to "open" our bedrooms. We have also started work on our new driveway, garden, and sitting room.
