www.cutman.ie We Provide Cutman Services for Professional MMA, Professional Boxing, WSB, Muay Thai and Kickboxing, The Cutman Brand stands for quality and the highest standard in fighter safety and care. All of the Cutman Team have Occupational First Aid and have an ERP (Emergency Response Plan) and are well versed in concussion care and the GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale). Providing on the spot decision making to support and assist any Doctors or paramedics attending major or minor venues.
The Cutman Team provide experience and practised knowledge in the field of professional combat sports to provide the highest standard of care for on the spot treatments of; Lacerations (e.g. cuts), nose bleeds or breaks, hematoma’s (e.g. swelling) and treatments to the skull and face. In general we know what we are doing because we have the experience of doing.
We provide professionalism, hygiene and the highest standard of fighter care. In our experience just because you put on a Cuts-Team T-Shirt doesn’t mean you’ve the experience, or served the apprenticeship to deliver effective treatment and more importantly safety for fighter care.

Hand wrapping is a personal preference for most athletes in terms of its application and feel. The question is whether it works in the prevention of hand Injuries? As there is no quantifiable research on hand wrapping in Combat Sport as of yet, we will examine the effects of zinc oxide tape on other joints in the prevention of Injury. Hand Wraps #comingfromsomeone who should know better! Anecdotal evidence is not evidence!! other factors bone density, technique, connection point, previous history of injuries! Was the wrap correctly put on? if so probably the only the reason the kid could continue as he did e.g. compression.
