Handcrafted Jewellery in sterling silver, gold and other materials using precious stones and natural materials. Each piece is lovingly made by myself. The designs are inspired by Irish traditions and history, natural forms and shapes and textures. When working on commissions the story behind and the reason for often shape the piece. Jewellery is a very personal gift either to yourself or somebody dear and should respond to the person wearing it. I also offer 1:1crafts classes. I was honoured to make my newest sister in law engagement ring and wedding ring. A challenge with great outcome it was very special to me that gold from my Da's wedding ring was used for it as well as in my brother wedding ring and that I was tasked to do this. A client commissioned me to change old family jewellery into a ring which she gave as a present to her mother. The ring turned out lovely, but with some gold left over after the process, this pendant was created along side the ring. To discuss commission work, feel free to call into The Boat Yard Gallery.
