We are currently looking for a CAD / CAM technician to complete our team. The person we are looking for will have a working knowledge of AutoCad or Vectorworks and have trained or worked in the furniture industry, with a good understanding of the various processes and materials that go into making a piece of furniture. Just about ready to take our table apart for final sanding and finishing. The centre pieces were machined on the CNC this morning for the polished metal inlay. The tops for the 10m table we are making were veneered this week. Cluster elm to centre first, then the walnut banding and finally it gets put back together to flush the joints and inlay the junction between the two veneers with ebony. #furniture #furnituredesign #handmadefurniture #klimmekfurniture #clusterelm #conferencetable

At just under 10m long it feels like this is one of the longest tables we have made -ever. It will have Cluster elm with walnut border on the tops with polished metal inlays to the walnut centre panels.
