Description
This fine pub has been run by the McCormack family since 1960. It's one of the neatest pubs around, with trees and shrubbery between the car park and an imaginative conservatory extension at the back of the pub.

Awards : Vintage 2012 : Gold Trophy Best Value – Vinordic Wine Challenge 2013 Vintage 2011 : Gold Medal Concours mondial Sauvignon 2011 (March 2012) 16.5/20 Jancis ROBINSON (february 2013) Tasting note EYE : Pale bright yellow colour with some hints of green. NOSE : The nose reveals a delightful alchemy with a blend of citrus notes (grapefruit and lime), notes of white flowers (jasmine), and a hint of smoke. MOUTH :Elegant palate, with a fine balance between a smooth attack, with citrus and fresh fruit aromas, and a fresh finish, typical for the vintage, with notes of grapefruit, giving the wine excellent length This would be one of the carefully selected wines we have on our menu.
