Traditional Sekhem is fire energy (sakara) with the grounding qualities of earth (Reiki). Tera Mai Sekhem works with all 4 elemental rays.

Earth (Reiki) - healing can be experienced as hot and cold - reminding us of our planet and it is Reiki which "grounds" all other healing energy.
Fire (Sakara) - this is distinguished as pulses of low voltage electricity and works within the Auric field as well as the Physical Body.
Water (Sophi-El) - waves of cooling energy and can assist in bringing forward deep emotional issues that require healing.

Air (Angelic Light) - a two fold energy of air and Spirit. It is said to work best with mental healing, there is a supposed enhancement of the power of the third eye and spoken word. The healer and the recipient can experience the presence of Angels, however this is not the only time that such beings will make their presence known.
