This week we made some really cool leprechauns and read all about St.Patrick, The Children of Lir and Barnaby Bear goes to Dublin we had our own boarding passes and money to go along with this book which the children all loved. Today we learned some verbs as gaeilge in buntùs, that was super fun for us all! Me Nan found a leprechaun book is absolutely hilarious if anybody comes across it it's worth picking up, we had a great laugh reading it today 😂 Looking forward to our parade tomorrow 🍀 Hope you all enjoy the celebrations 🎉

We had a lovely work experience student with us for a week from transition year in St.Pauls secondary school. Katie was brilliant with the children and they all loved her. Happy Australia Day 🐨 the children were introduced to the continent of Australia today. They loved the boomerang and the 5 dollars!

We learned all about Europe Today! Last week the children were introduced to the Continents of the world, for the next couple of weeks we will learn about each one. 🌍

Our nature table has been transformed! Robbie the Robin arrived in class this week from the north pole. He flies back to help Santa in the work shop every night and to let him know how well behaved our kiddies are 🙈 How gorgeous are the christmas trees 🎄🎄🎄

Great fun today reading "Room on the Broom" book and tasting Barmbrack, lots of excitement finding the ring too. Tomorrow we will be carving the pumpkin ahead of our Halloween show preparations! 💀👻👽👹

The great thing about the montessori method of education is the age range. This morning two older children wanted to match sounds to sound cards, a couple of minutes later one of the younger children joined in and copied what they were doing. The end result was lovely, the youngest child isn't too familiar with sounds yet, so the older girls began to teach him 🙌😊
