My name is Ali and I am a dog trainer and behaviour consultant who works with families on a one-to-one basis helping them to understand their dogs and together build a happy, successful relationship.
It is undeniable that sometimes dogs present us with very challenging behaviours and when in the midst of it occurring it can be difficult to see how it can be overcome. Together we will enable you to better understand the motivation for your dog’s behaviour and help to address it through proven positive, force free behaviour modification and training techniques.

facebook.comMarvellous Manny is only a few short weeks in his new home but you would never know it when you see him responding to his new owner Niamh out in their walks. The slightest shift in her body to signal she was heading in a new direction and he was immediately moving with her. I talk with my clients a lot about getting the two end of the lead working together and Manny and Niamh were nailing it! Such a super little team. 😊
I wish I had gotten Toastie's party trick on camera instead of a photo. She very slowly rolls her ball back down her nose until it is right between her eyes and then flicks her head to the side catching it in one felt swoop, it's a real talent!
Sometimes I have the pleasure of meeting truly wonderful people and their dogs. Beautiful little Bella lived the first 6 years of her life as an outdoor dog until a change in her family's situation meant they needed to find her a new home. Her wonderful new guardians were delighted to bring her into their lives and hoped at 6 years old with a glowing history from her previous family she would slot right in. Unfortunately Bella came with an unexpected list of behaviour problems including severe separation anxiety, reactivity to dogs, compulsive bird chasing, aggressive displays directed towards men and on top of that she also tore her cruciate ligament within the first two weeks. Despite all of this, her new family fell head over heals for her and were determined to work through her problems. Daily training sessions, progress reports, video recordings, self research and a wonderful natural flair for reading Bella and working through her program with skill and ease have started Bella on a path to become a happy, content little lady. Wonderful!!! 🐶❤️
Beautiful Ban is a 9 week old German Shepherd puppy. 😍 His amazing mom and dad are determined to help him be the happiest, healthiest, easy going well trained boy from the get go.
Is there anything better then snoozy cuddles with your dogs ❤️🐶💤
Charlie out for an evening stroll in his new Ruffwear UK harness. I love that it is a broad harness as it balances any pressure from pulling across a wide area. It also has a front attaching feature which is really helpful while you are working on your dog's loose lead training. Of course Charlie's pulling days are thankfully well and truly behind him. 😀
Popped out to Ash Animal Rescue yesterday with some kindly donated food from Petstop and got to walk some of the beautiful dogs there. Each and every one of them were a joy to spend time with from the oh so exuberant, with a true lust for life, Olivia to the super smart focused little pocket rocket Coco. These guys are just a few of the wonderful dogs/cats/donkeys/pigs... the list goes on... that Ash care for every day while waiting for their forever families to arrive. If you are thinking of adding to your family or even just have some time and would like to spend it with some wonderful animals, why not pop out and say hi. Pictures from left to right; Parker, Coco, Lucy, Alfie, Avon, Valentino & pal (we didn't get her name 🙃) Olivia & in the centre the breathtakingly beautiful Tucker. 😍
It's not the clear blue skies I was expecting today but boy it still is HOT. We had a short walk pottering & sniffing in the shade this morning before the day really heated up. Now Charlie is teaching Daisy how to bob for frozen peas in the paddling pool. I have frozen their Kongs and some banana, peanut butter & coconut ice cubes for them to munch on throughout the day.
Lovely StaffyxJack Russell Lola 😍 Little Lola is a new addition to her family and unfortunately at 6 months of age she has already acquired some behavioural baggage. She is super smart and her family are fully committed to helping her so I have tonnes of confidence that she will blossom into a fantastic adult dog.
😊
Absolutely amazing weekend spent getting my geek on attending Ken Ramirez's Core Training Principles at Positive Dog Training. He is a brilliant speaker and I have taken so much from the seminar that will hopefully make me a better trainer of dogs and their people. 🤓
Gorgeous Cleo and her amazing humans rocked their training session this morning, gold stars all round ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
