Attached is the January Newsletter outlining the events for this month at Anam Ashram, Tallaght. • We resume our weekly Yoga and Meditation classes this week. • The Yoga Workshop on the 14th is on beginner’s purification practices: these mysterious practices focus on the head area. Music meditation is also taught in this workshop. • The day Meditation & Yoga retreat is on the 28th of January: we have found in our experience, a day of Yoga & Meditation and other Spiritual practices can be of huge benefit physically, for our emotional world and for the mind – we have a chance to connect to our being. Dear Friends, Below is a poster describing a Yoga workshop from 10:00am-1pm at Anam Ashram, Bancroft Park, Tallaght this Saturday Morning. The Yoga style is meditative in nature and suitable for all levels of fitness. This workshop will contain a detailed introduction to a Yoga technique followed by Yoga practice containing music meditation and finally a presentation on a Yoga related topic. The presentation will focus on “What is Yoga?” and will include Christian perspectives on Yoga and Eastern Practices. Participants will receive papers on the material presented. Cost: €30.
