Yoga with Lydia
Description
Yoga; PRENATAL, POST NATAL, MUM AND BABY, KIDS, HATHA YOGA, MINDFUL MOVEMENT AND MEDITATION, YOGA THERAPY FOR CHILDREN WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS, WOMB YOGA. Lydia is an experienced yoga teacher, offering classes for adults, mums to be, new mums and their babies and kids all over dublin and wicklow.
A bit about Lydia : lydia did her first yoga class in the himalayas when she was a little girl and loved it. Yoga has been a lifelong pursuit, but to give her a greater understanding of how the body works and why it sometimes doesn't, Lydia has also trained as a Bowen therapist and completed a diploma in Anatomy and Physiology. Having spent the last decade working with children and pregnant mums, she decided that working as a pre and post natal yoga teacher was her true calling.

Spider pose: strengthens quads and ankles, opens hips and groin. Looks fancy but is achievable by all. You access the muscularity in your legs to allow the freedom in your upper body. This reminds us that if we lay down strong foundations/roots it gives us the space to grow even greater. #yogaforyou #findstrengthinchallenge #strongrootsgrowtalltrees

Simple standing side stretch . Suitable for everyone but especially good for the last two trimesters of #pregnancy when you needthat extra room for your little one to grow into. #pregnancyyoga #yogaforyou
Simple morning stretches for tight bodies. This 3 minute routine is suitable for everybody and will wake you up for the day. My body is not the 'typical 'yoga body , I am not super bendy and flexible naturally. I have tight hamstrings and shoulders and I do yoga every day to maintain the level of flexibility I do have. I do yoga because it makes feel better, it makes being in my body feel good. This is why yoga is for everyone. Don't let your preconceptions about #yoga stop you from getting on a mat and having a go. I promise you you won't regret it. #yogaforyourbody

Out of office: Ryan Giggs on his passion for yoga
Ryan giggs says yoga helped him to extend his career by 10 years. It is great to see More and more sports teams taking on a Yoga teacher to coach their players and help to improve focus, increase lung capacity , prevent injury and rehabilitate existing conditions. For all those out there who think that yoga is " just for women" (something that I hear so often it drives me crazy ) , yoga is for Every Body. #yogaforyourbody https://www.ft.com/content/e07731d0-343d-11e7-99bd-13beb0903fa3
Got lecithin? | Birth Faith
I'm often recommending lecithin granules to mums in my prenatal yoga classes if they have pubic symphysis or hip pain in pregnancy. They help to strengthen the ligaments around the joint and prevent them from separating too early. This article explains nicely about how this tip has been passed down by midwives to mums for years. #yogaforyourbody #midwivesrock #naturalhealingfromhome http://birthfaith.org/do-it-yourself/got-lecithin
