In April 2015, Dunnes Stores workers took industrial action to achieve secure hours and incomes. The wanted and needed banded-hour contracts, which would allow them the ability to plan their lives. Two and a half years later Dunnes Stores workers and tens of thousands of other workers are still waiting for the government to pass legislation that would provide secure hours.
