Join us for an ‘Evening for Book Lovers’ at No. 6 Kildare Street CMRF Crumlin to raise funds for paediatric research in association with Eason Book Club Friday, 7th October 2016 Thursday, 22nd September 2016: Broadcaster Rick O’ Shea launched ‘An Evening for Book Lovers’, a charity event in association with Eason Book Club to raise funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Taking place on Friday 7th October at the Royal College of Physicians at No 6 Kildare Street at 7.30pm. The evening will feature an all-star line-up of authors including; Donal Ryan, Alex Barclay, Hazel Gaynor, Melissa Hill, Mary O’ Rourke and Deirdre Purcell (Please see attached). The evening will kick off with a drinks reception followed by supper with wine, Rick O’ Shea will then host an author discussion panel. Guests will have the opportunity to meet some of Ireland’s most prolific authors throughout the evening and have their books signed. All attendees will receive a complimentary goody bag. Jean Whelan, Chair of the Organising Committee said, “A child attends Crumlin Children’s Hospital every four minutes on average, often with a life-threatening illness. The focus of this event is to raise much-needed funds for the vital research programme currently being undertaken at the hospital to ensure that every one of those sick children has the best chance.
