Rachel's Shining Stars Speech and Drama classes taking place in Dublin and Cork
Rachel believes in the power of Drama to build self-confidence and self control in children. She uses the children's natural creativity and a safe, fun environment to achieve overall personal development. Small class sizes are maintained to ensure individual attention is given to each student and emphasis is placed on developing each child’s confidence, speech, fluency and participation.
The classes focus on all aspects of Speech and Drama Studies; improvisation, puppetry, drama games, storytelling, public speaking, movement. Children will be encouraged to take part in annual Speech and Drama grade exams with the Irish Board of Speech and Drama. More information on exams can be found on Irishboard.ie. As well as this children will be encouraged to compete in the Speech and Drama Teachers of Ireland competing against other drama students from all over Ireland in a group or individual performance.
