Are you already covered? - Many people pay on the double for insurance, for example, if your motor policy covers insurance abroad you may be already paying for this through your travel insurance! When the insurer lists everything included in your new quote, see if you can do without windscreen/breakdown cover or travel cover, it may be a lot cheaper. 5. Your Occupation - Don't add fancy names to your role. Research has shown the more basic of job positions bring back cheaper insurance quotes. Be as accurate as possible! 6.
