Well everyone, my last day in Smarties and the childcare profession has come! I thought this was the perfect way to thank each and every one of you for your kind words, gifts and cards. Smarties has been my second home and my second family and has been an absolute pleasure to work in. But it's time for a new adventure! Its very emotional to go for me because I saw an empty building turn into a colorful, fun and vibrant Montessori and was there when the doors first opened. The bond I formed with my "little smarties",the wonderful families and my gorgeous colleagues will not be forgotten 😊 Thank you all for your friendship and support over the last two years. This is definitely not goodbye, I'll see you all soon, Lysa ❤

This morning we made smoothie "ice creams" using blended kiwi and watermelon, we can't wait to eat them tomorrow! 😀 This afternoon we did arts and crafts and made pretend ice cream cones! We're having so much fun this week and have very happy tummies! 🍕🍌🍉🍒🍦🍰 The Smarties x

This week is our baking week Summer Camps, yesterday we made yummy smoothies 🍌🍎🍐🍓 We are having another yummy day today making pizza 🍕 We made a gluten free version as we have a few allergies in the creche so this way it was safe and delicious for everyone 😊 we put tomato purée on top with cheese and ham, we can't wait to eat them 😍😍

We have got our Summer off to the best start with Camping Week! We've made a "campfire", sang songs, "toasted" marshmallows, made brownies, played games, done a scavenger hunt and made glowing bugs (from old water bottles and glow sticks), not to mention an impromptu talent show that we named "Smarties Got Talent" 😂 We hope everyone's having a great week but we doubt your week is as fun as ours 😜 The Smarties x

Today is Smarties Academy's 2nd birthday! We can't believe how fast the two years have gone by but time flies when you're having fun! It is also our Mascott's birthday today, his name is Osito! 🐻 We'd like to thank everyone who has been with us all this time, what started out as a dream is now a reality and we are so lucky to have our little family! The Smarties x

Our Montessori class had a fun day today, we kicked off our Summer by making some chocolate chip cookies and finishing our "Memory Books" with pictures from the last year. We are so lucky to have the amazing families we have here at Smarties and we would like to thank everyone for their friendship and support over the last year (or more!) We have a prehistoric preschool today! Our Junior Monties are learning all about dinosaurs, with a classroom full of boys you can imagine their teacher had their full attention! 😂 Our Montessori class are busy preparing for their Graduation Show tomorrow!
