So on this our last night of live entertainment here at McDonaghs I would like to say a huge thank you to all the musicians, djs, entertainers whatever you did at Macs over the past few years, particularly those who remained loyal to us right up til the end, we"ve had some amazing nights with some amazing people and characters who have graced the stage here in the lounge, we kept live music alive as mu h as we could and maintained the legendary status the pub has built up over the years, a big thank you also to our regular customers who week after week came down to enjoy the various bands etc we put on, without you the customers it wouldnt have been possible, you guys rock. SO onward and upward hopefully, a new era on the horizon for the premises, itll not be the same but then again how could it?? Hi folks, As I'm sure you know this weekend is the last weekend of Mcdonaghs/Macs. Its been an incredible 6 years and we are going to party hard this weekend and go out with a bang! On Friday night we have the fabulous 'JUST US', this band have played here many times over the years and we are delighted to welcome them back one last time! On Saturday we have the amazing band 'THE CRUSH', who really are one of our favourite bands, they have made the place go crazy many times and its always a great night with them.. amazing female vocalist! Brilliant band for our last Saturday! On Sunday, our very last day, of course we have 'SKIN THE GOAT' from 6:30pm. Robbie and Gary from Skin The Goat have been our resident Sunday duo from the start. They are two of the best musicians we have here in Macs and you wont want to miss their last gig here! After Skin The Goat, there will be a DJ, Karaoke, and lots and lots of singing and dancing.
