Our 1st team picked up another 3 points last night in a foggy Utd park and sees them return to the top of the table. With a bad fog setting in around 7pm the game was in doubt and only got the go ahead from the match officials 20 minutes before KO. Harps who hadn't played a league game since Dec 7th started the slower and fell 1-0 down after just 10 minutes. Harps had chances to level things up only to be denied by some fine saves from the Duleek GK. The lads kept creating chances and after some fine play Martin Kelly level things up for us with a fine strike and sent both teams in level at the break. Harps started the 2nd half much better and raced into a 3-1 lead with 2 quick goals for Martin Kelly & Stephen Carter. Harps continued to control the game and should of went further ahead when Guy Bates delivered a great ball into the box only for Carl Dowling to see his effort hit the post. Harps finished off a great result and performance when Guy Bates made it 4-1 with 10 minutes to go. Also great to see Bryan Smith return and back in action for us last night. Bryan had broken his collarbone in the first game of the season and it was his first game back since. Welcome back Bryan and a great effort from everyone.
