Enter our 2016 Photo Competition to win some amazing prizes, as well as raising much needed funds for DAR! We are very excited to launch our DAR Pet Photo Competition!
We have some great categories for you to enter, and the top 3 photos (voted for by our judges) will be entered into a final Overall category, which will be judged by public vote.

HOW TO ENTER:
We have 10 categories. You can enter as many or as few as you would like, and as many photos as you would like. Entries cost €5 for 1 photo, €8 for 2 photos and €10 for 3 photos (either different photos in the same category, different photos in different categories, or the same photo in different categories). Entry fees can be paid by Paypal to admin@dar.ie or to our Everyday Hero page at https://nfp.everydayhero.com/ie/droghedaanimalrescue/give
(putting reference Photo Competition on the payment).
When you have paid your entry fee, you can send a copy of your confirmation to us along with your photos. Photos can be submitted by Private Message to the Photo Competition Facebook page, or by email to darphotocomp@gmail.com . Please include your name, and the name of your pet in your message.
Our categories are:
• Dog
• Cat
• Other Pets
• Golden Oldie (over 9 years)
• Junior (under 6 months)
• Meme
• Pet Selfie
• Action/Outdoor Shot
• Rescue Pet
• Group Shot (when just 1 pet isn’t enough!)
Rosettes and Certificates will be awarded to the Top 3 photos in each category. We have some amazing prizes for our overall winners – stay tuned to find out more!
Closing date for entries is the 4th of November. Our judging will then take place, winners will be notified, and the Overall category will run on Facebook for a week of public vote.

WE HAVE A WINNER! Congratulations to Henry who has won our first prize in the overall Best in Show Competition. BEST IN SHOW
The shortlisted photos from each category are put into Best in Show for the chance to win a year's supply of Royal Canin food, along with some other excellent prizes. Judging is by public vote, until 8pm on Tuesday 20th December. The winner will be the photo in this album with the most likes, so get sharing !!!
