On behalf of Sr Consilio and everyone here in Cuan Mhuire, we would like to thank the Galbraith family and the Michael Galbraith Memorial Fund, for their generous donation of 22,500 which was raised at a recent function held in Donegal in memory of Michael Galbraith, who was the architect of our new centre in Newry.

New for 2017 the Institute of Technology Tralee, in collaboration with Cuan Mhuire/Galilee House of Studies are offering BA (Honours) Degree Counselling with Addiction courses. (http://www.drugsandalcohol.ie/courses/providers/94) I would be grateful if you would circulate to anyone who may be interested. Successful completion of the BA (Honours) in Counselling with Addiction programme will enable learners to progress their studies to masters level. The Institute of Technology Tralee, in collaboration with Cuan Mhuire/Galilee House of Studies, are planning to develop a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy. In addition, graduates will have the opportunity to undertake the masters scholarship programme offered by IT Tralee which supports learners in developing their research interests and skills to NFQ level 9. Remember the deadline for application is the 30th of June.

The JP CLYNCH MEMORIAL VINTAGE RALLY & AUCTION: will take place on sat 10th and Sun 11th of June at the Moone High Cross Inn, Moone, Co. Kildare. The Ladies Lilac Lunch is held to honour the unwavering compassion and vision of Sr. Consilio Fitzgerald. Also to aid Cuan Mhuire in developing a new female only treatment centre in Athy and to continue the work of caring for and supporting individuals and families caught in the turmoil of addiction. The lunch will be held in The Great Room of The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin on 1st September 2017.

The Revenue Choir & guests are holding a Summer Recital on Tuesday 9th May in St Ann's Church, Dawson St, Dublin 2 in aid of Cuan Mhuire. The Recital begins at 6pm sharp and concludes c. 9pm.
