We are a Crossmolina Community Development Council based in Crossmolina Co Mayo. Crossmolina Community Development Council is a voluntary organisation which was founded in 1989 to support initiatives that enhance the social,cultural and economic life of the community of Crossmolina and surrounding areas thereby counteracting rural depopulation, emigration and economic deprivation.
Its activities are based on providing facilities which enhance the lives of those who live in the community i.e. the provision of community facilities.
Within the Crossmolina Community Development Council we have organisations such as C.S.P. Programme, Tidy Towns, Festival, Cemetery, Community Alert, Development Group, Pantomime and other events. We have services available e.g. office/Secretarial, Computer room training and facilities, Tourist information, Alzheimers Group.

Please like and share. Crossmolina 2025 What does our community need in 2025? Crossmolina Community Council invite representatives from local Community groups to an information evening. We have an opportunity now to purchase land for the community that will be available for future community use and development. This project can form part of future plans for the community activities and facilities within the town. Meeting will take place in the Town Hall, Crossmolina on Monday 12th at 20:00.

Please like and share. Countrywide Information Evening The Mayo PPN Countywide Information Evening will take place on Wednesday 7th February, at 7pm in the Tennis Club, Castlebar. Mike Hannon, Project Manager of the County Mayo Foundation, will give a presentation about the types of community projects the Foundation grant aids, and how to apply to them for a grant. The Mayo PPN Information Evening is a great opportunity for groups to promote their activities - please feel free to bring leaflets about your group's activities.
