Timeline Photos
Reminder of our very exciting event on Tuesday. Join us in Boole 1 at 7:00pm for a comedy performance by Dr Till Weingartner (pictured below). It is certainly not a night you want to miss!
Rakugo
We're joined by Dr. Till Weingaertner from the School of Asian Studies for this week's event. Rakugo is a form of Japanese storytelling dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries. Dr. Weingaertner will be demonstrating this tradition for us in Boole 1 at 7pm! :)

Anime and Manga 24 hour lock-in in aid of Pieta House
We've got a lot of promotions on this week! First up is a great event in Galway, which we would have loved to collab with but due to lack of interest we cannot organise a J-Soc Trip. However, for those of you interested, you can still go as the event very unique and all goes to a great cause. Check out the link here; https://www.facebook.com/events/183370605477953/ A little bit closer to home but tomorrow there is an event being held by UCC Africa Society at 7pm in Kae G19. It is a talk on "Cultural Appropriation", and basically exploring all the aspects of it and questions which often arise due to this. This will then be followed by an open discussion, where everyone can openly contribute. And finally UCC Friends of MSF are holding another of their Mapathon Events tomorrow. Another great cause the mapathon attempts to create maps for regions in the world where there is little access to aid. Anyone can join in so for more information check out their page here; https://www.facebook.com/events/1639908102983065/
