With an especially difficult quiz last week, we can only assume that quiz master Chris Bennett thought we'd been studying all week and not in The Friary socialising. . .😎 Well we're sure he'll be nicer to you all this Wednesday at our quiz! DJ Danilo will be playing some great music for you this afternoon for our 27 Tastes of Brazil event 😊 here's a little sample... Opening early for this one so come along from 2 pm for music and delicious food!

Here's a little teaser post of the food we'll have in the bar this Sunday during our 27 Tastes of Brazil afternoon :P On the day, we'll have feijoada (a black bean, pork stew) plus a veggie feijoada :) :) :) and for desert, some delicious brigadeiro (a chocolatey treat)!!! As well as all the food, DJ Danilo will play us some great Brazilian tunes! We'll be kicking off at 2:30 pm for this one guys!

Seeing as our excellent organisational skills means we couldn't screen Trainspotting on Tuesday, we've decided to screen it next Monday (April 16th) at 8 pm !! Make sure to come along and enjoy the movie, the free popcorn and the Iron Bru cocktails which we're sure you've all been looking forward to :P

Reminder that we're still looking for a penguin judge/buddy for Saturday night at Crossdressing Countdown with Penguins! :) We'll need someone to be a words judge / panel member on the night. Fellow panel members will include another penguin and two fabulous crossdressers :P Let us know in the comments if you're interested in participating in our Countdown panel. OH! And whoever we choose will get free pints for the duration of our event. . . but that's no big deal :P
