I'm looking forward to offering a transformational Kundalini Yoga workshop, VELOCITY & STILLNESS, this Saturday, March 4th, at Little Bird Yoga in Dublin 8, from 3-5.30pm. There are a few places left. Book soon! VELOCITY & STILLNESS Through yoga and in life, we create balance by embracing a full spectrum of experiences. We encounter moments when the velocity of life is overwhelming. In such instances stillness is necessary in order to recover, regain perspective and clarity. Conversely, there are times when we can feel totally stuck and stagnant. Such moments require a certain momentum, a push, to get out of the rut and back on track. Conscious action can renew one’s passion and vitality. In this Kundalini Yoga workshop we will explore a full spectrum of experiences, from velocity to stillness. You will have an opportunity to identify your current energetic trends and needs. You will also acquire some yoga skills to create the balance you are seeking at the various points in your onward journey. Kundalini Yoga is often referred to as the ‘Yoga of Awareness.' It is an avenue to Self experience and expansion. The yoga practice integrates breathing techniques, active movement, held stretches, deep relaxation, meditation, mudra (hand positions), and mantra (meditation utilizing the repetition of sound). EXPLORING YOUR TEN BODIES KUNDALINI YOGA WORKSHOP Friday, February 3rd, 7.30-9.30pm "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience." Pierre Teilhard de Chardin Join Jai Kartar Kaur for an enlightening and enjoyable workshop for teachers, teachers in training, and students with an interest in Kundalini yoga. We will explore the Kundalini Yoga philosophy of the Ten Bodies and, most importantly, you will have an opportunity to experience divine alignment within your own being. In the Kundalini Yoga discipline, we recognise that we are complex beings. We are both finite and infinite. Our scope extends beyond the physical form. In our human incarnation we have the ability to experience on a multitude of levels. We have basic, gross experiences that stem from our senses. From our most basic awareness, our self experience unfolds in a multitude of forms which vary in their subtlety. All of these aspects (or bodies) of our being have an impact on us whether we are aware of them or not. When we work with Pranayama, Kriya (yogic postures given in sequence), and meditation we balance the ten bodies of our being. When all of the ten bodies are awakened and sympathetically aligned we feel expanded, whole, and connected. Our ability to embody our greatness, to access the Divine within and manifest it in the world around us, becomes an effortless way of being. Kundalini Yoga integrates all branches of the yogic discipline. Its practises include Kriya (yogic postures given in sequence), Pranayama (controlled breathing techniques), meditation, mantra (chanting), and gong meditation resulting in an extremely powerful and transformational experience.
