Drama and exercise with a touch of arts and crafts. Children are naturally dramatic and full of energy, they also love to express themselves creatively.

I incorporate exercise to my drama lessons in a fun and playful manner to help prevent obesity while building imagination and creativity.
Dramacise encourages children to express their uniqueness which promotes well being and gives them a better outlook on life.

Drama and exercise combined inspires self esteem, confidence, team building, social skills, communication skills, fun physical fitness and helps children think outside the box.

I myself am highly qualified in speech and drama and acting, I also have 8 years experience working with children.

Saturdays Dramacise class was themed "goldilocks and the three bears". The children put on a fantastic show with the puppets and the theatre 🎭. The children also got very creative while making magical porridge with the large mixing bowl, the porridge made them very expressive once they tasted it. They were very fun classes. Well done guys 👍

Saturdays Dramacise classes went very well as we took a different approach on our drama skills. The younger groups were learning and dramatising about 2 of the vikings gods Thor who became a super hero and his father Odin. The older group had great fun with the story cubes but also had to incorporate lines from their pocket into their stories. Each person had 3 silly lines to add into their unique story. They also did a role on the wall strategy about each other, which gave us a great outlook on each other. The Nae Nae workout was tough but we did it 👍

Saturdays class was based on the true story of Humpty Dumpty long before he became known for the famous nursery rhyme. Throughout the class the children did speech exercises, physical exercises and obviously had loads of creative fun along the way. The older group had a nursery rhyme rap battle against each other in pairs, they also gave it their all through themed monologues from Alice through the looking glass (great confidence builder). As many of the younger group aren't at reading level that didn't stop them from taking a nursery rhyme and perform it for the group. Well done all great class👍🎭

Happy Valentine's Day all❤. Saturdays theme was based on the book "the scarecrows wedding" tied in with Valentine's Day. The children were very good at working together in pairs. They had great fun playing the game "if you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it" (hula hoop). Also the older group got hold of the camera and couldn't resist taking a few selfies.

Dramacise classes were great fun with all the props. The older group did the theme of Thumbelina. While on request by a child in one of the younger groups she asked could I make a lesson plan on her favourite book "the Clumsy Crab" and so I did. The girls from the older group were making crepe paper flowers but decided to turn them into fashionable jojo bows. While the younger group made clumsy crab claws which they used as a prob in the story.

Saturdays Dramacise class was great fun as we celebrated the legend behind Chinese New Year with the day that was in it. We explored why there are such big celebrations in China due to preventing the 'Nian'. We also became the animals of the Zodiac Race to show why each Chinese year is named after a certain animal. I hope the year of the 'rooster' is a lucky and happy one for all.

Saturdays class was great fun. The theme of the week was "The Gruffalos Child". The children were very good at performing The Griffalos Child through a Whooosh story aka each scene is performed individually and whooosh return to your space for the next scene. Each child respected each other and helped one another along the way. The older group had to explore shadows as part of their class. Super children well done 👍😃

Last Saturday was a great start to our new year term. Our theme was inspired by a book called "the day the crayons quit". There was a lot of improvisation needed for this class. The children were very good at using their memory skills to make rainbow soup👍 they all got very creative 🎭. There are still spaces available in some of the classes if your child is thinking of trying something new, fun and exciting 😁
