Youth Diversion Project The aim of CDYS Cobh is for groups to come under the umbrella of CDYS. The groups themselves will run independently to the Youth Diversion Project but will adhere to the policies and Procedures of CDYS. We will provide training and education to the groups involved and support these people in whatever way is possible. CDYS seeks to provide the highest quality training to those who have a strong commitment and motivation to work with young people. This is based on the CDYS learning & development policy which encourages staff to undertake course’s, endeavours to enhance their skills and also aims to strengthen the organisation through significantly contributing to people’s personal development
works with young people in Cobh aged 12 years to 18 years. The project encourages participation in individual and group work, provides information and facilitates activities that engage young people’s growth and development. The project works closely with schools and other agencies in the wider community.
