Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Job Share – working 3 days per week; Wednesday – Friday Inclusive) The Marine Institute Ireland - Rinville, County Galway Part-time, Temporary Summary of the Role: The Administrative Assistant will work within the ORD (Office of Research and Development) team (Job Share Wednesday to Friday); with main responsibility for supporting the post-award process for Marine Institute’s (MI’s) externally funded projects. Funded projects include FP7, H2020, Interreg, DAFM, EMFF, EASME, EPA, SFI and other national and European funding streams. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with MI researchers, senior staff and management to administer the financial reporting process, to deliver timely drawdown of research funds while ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Key to this process is the collation and centralisation of all externally funded project documentation onto the MI SharePoint system. In addition, the successful candidate will work with MI researchers and the MI library to promote and disseminate research outputs, ensuring all reports are available publicly via the MI Open Access Repository (OAR).
