What a wonderful day here in Meentagh Glen today. A huge turnout at the monthly traditional music session. They came from Holland, Germany, New York, Sunderland and all parts of Ireland. It was the warmest day of the year so far and we had a packed house. A big big thank you to all the musicians, singers, dancers and listeners who attended. Thank you to all the ladies who baked the lovely cakes and scones and who helped serve the tea, and thank you to all who donated to Cashel Na Cor Resorce Centre, you donated €277.69 to a great cause. It was a very enjoyable day and we were very privileged to have such a great talented group of entertainers here today.

We are looking forward to another Traditional Music Sessions this Sunday 8th May from 3.30 to 6pm. The charity we are supporting this month is Cashel Na Cor Resorce Centre in Buncrana. (comfort fund) All musicians, singers dancers and listeners are welcome. It is always a great afternoon's entertainment so if you are in the area please feel free to drop in.
